Chocolate for breakfast? Hard yes. This decadent-tasting almond milk smoothie may seem like straight-up dessert, but with chocolate, cherries and granola, it’s actually an energy-packed way to start your day or end a workout.

Cherry-Almond Granola Smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana, halved
  • 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries (from 10-oz bag)
  • 3/4 cup original unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons Justin's™ Classic almond butter (from 16-oz jar)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup Cascadian Farm™ organic oats & honey granola (from 16-oz box)
  • 2 tablespoons shaved dark chocolate (from 3-oz bar)

Instructions

  • Step

    In blender, place frozen banana, cherries, almond milk, almond butter and honey. Cover; blend on high speed 1 to 2 minutes, scraping down sides of blender as necessary, until smooth

    Pour into 2 glasses. Top with granola and chocolate. Serve immediately.
