  • This time of year, a warm breakfast is your golden ticket to a great day ... and this new fiber and granola cereal combo drenched in steamed milk beats all. Living in Florida we rarely get a taste of winter weather. But every once in a while we’ll have a cold front come through and the temperature dips into the 40s. I then pull out the few sweaters I own and enjoy the warm comfort foods that go along with the crisp cold weather. This Hot Steamed Granola Crunch recipe is a mixture of granola and Fiber One cereal, coconut, and chopped pecans. Pour some frothy steamed milk on top and you’ve got a crunchy sweet breakfast that puts boring oatmeal to shame. And trust me, from a girl who loved oatmeal so much she ate it every morning for a year, a change from regular oatmeal was welcome. Recently, we had one of those unusual cold fronts come in and it gave me a chance to experiment and come up with this Granola Crunch breakfast. It starts with Fiber One Caramel Delight and Cascadian Farm French Vanilla Almond Granola. By themselves these cereals are tasty, but together with a couple of add ins they are just down right indulgent. And because no one wants a cold breakfast on a cold morning, warm steamed milk is perfect poured over this granola mixture. There’s nothing like a warm breakfast to fill your tummy and get you ready to brave the cold!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fiber One™ Cereal Caramel Delight, whole
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 chopped pecans
  • 2 cups Cascadian Farm™ Organic Granola French Vanilla Almond
  • 4 cups steamed milk

Instructions

    In a large bowl combine the Fiber One™ Caramel Delight cereal, granola, melted butter, coconut, and pecans, and mix until combined.

    Divide granola into 4 serving bowls and pour about 1 cup steamed milk over each serving and eat.
